HOW TO HELP

VOLUNTEER

Experienced dressmakers are very welcome. Although we encourage your efforts on at least two consecutive Tuesdays or Friday to provide continuity to the program, we hope you will join us more often during the school term.

A Working with Children Card and National Police Check will be facilitated by Anglicare at their expense.

SEWING SUPPLIES

We rely on the generosity of the community. Your support helps to sustain and enrich our program, as well as, what we can offer to the students.

We appreciate the following – lengths of quality fabric, haberdashery such as zips, trims, elastic and equipment like scissors and measuring tapes. Domestic sewing machines and overlockers can be gifted to our students. Please be in touch if you have clean, neatly organised donations – (this helps our volunteers, who spend many hours sorting).
